I have this character concept of a farmer who has druidic powers and actually use them in his daily routine of taking care of a farm, however he does not know his "abilities" comes from druid spells , but instead he believes he can do that because he's a godamn great farmer, and he absolutely refuses to accept that it's magic, and insists that no one else actually met such a great farmer that can grow plants, take care of animals and manipulate water with such "ease".
My question is: what spells and traits are more adequate for this situation? Obvious early examples are Animal Friendship, Create Water, Gust of Wind and Purify Food, but I'm also interested in suggestions of creative uses of other "exotic" druid spells that he can give an excuse of being a farmer.
Thunderclap dismissed as 'extreme case of gas'? Or, for something even more 'out there,' sleepwalking shape-changes. Like maybe he shifts into an ox and plows a field at night, but he remembers it the next day as he just really got a good day of plowing from his oxen the day before (like a trauma defense mechanism almost?) I really like ur idea, lots of fun things to think about :D
I have never been able to successfully use this in a game, but it would make sense that this character would always know what plants, berries, and creatures are poisonous through [detect poison and disease](https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/detect-poison-and-disease).
Maybe this character holds the village record for rounding up sheep or cattle because longstrider makes them run so dang fast.
Maybe the weather prediction parts of druidcraft really do manifest as a 'stiff knee' or as aching bones.
You could have the wildshapes be the farm animals such as ox to plough, I would love to play a druid who only knows how to wildshape into the farm animals!

Neat idea, let me take a stab.

Entangle, Spike Growth, Plant Growth.
Also, the cantrip Thorn Whip (in the PHB) can come in handy.
How would you bring wildshape into it?

Maybe he randomly wild shapes in his sleep, but passes it off as weird dreams...

I lost any measure of sanity I ever had a long time ago!
