I was wondering if any of you had any expirience with this subclass. I was thinking an interesting shaman Druid were the wildfire spirit was a flame skull or something like that could be cool, but what have you guys done to customize the spirit without changing the features themselves?
You determine the spirit’s appearance. Some spirits take the form of a humanoid figure made of gnarled branches covered in flame, while others look like beasts wreathed in fire.
According to the above section I copy/pasted from the wildfire druid's feature you get to choose what it looks like so flaming skulls and what not are perfectly viable options. I have not given much thought to customizing the fire spirit but will get back to you later with a few ideas (I haven't had breakfast yet, lol).
But something I did notice is that while the overall theme implies it must be 'covered in flame' or 'wreathed in fire' nowhere does it state if it sheds bright light or dim light?
I usually use either a bird or a fox form. It is fun to just have a pet made of fire following you around.

I lost any measure of sanity I ever had a long time ago!
One of my characters was a warforged wildfire, flavored as bastion from OW, so I treated the wildfire spirit as Machine gun fire. super fun.
