As people have said, moon druids spike really hard in terms of power at level 2, and it takes a while for land druids to come into their own, but Land is my favorite kind of druid.
Some of the land environments are traps. IMO mountain and underdark are the strongest. Mountain gives you a great blasting spell with some aoe potential, which is something druids are generally weak at. It also has some great utility spells. Underdark has Web which is somewhat redundant with entangle, but it's overall better. You become a lock-down specialist that can target STR, DEX, or CON with entangle, web, and stinking cloud.
There are also opportunity costs: while people underestimate that Circle of the Moon can cast basically as well as any other full-term spellcaster, they spend enough time in beast form that they often don't get to make use of spells in combat (at least during their 'power spike' levels), but well-placed Entangle can be worth more than a Brown Bear.
Anyway, instead of competing with the other Druid, consider how you can complement them. You specialise in debuff and battlefield control spells, plus minor blasting and healing, with a spell list that boasts some of the best variety in the game. Work hard to make your other party members even better and don't focus on damage output.
