1. Dont believe you can cast spells through an echo. Most importantly an echo isnt a creature, its an object(Main reason why you dont get flanking bonus with your echo)
2. Kinda links into the first point but upto interpretation and RP. Mine was a sandman echo, however i wouldnt allow the changeling ability affect its appearance although thats upto DM ruling.
3. No, you cast spell on yourself. Your echo is a separate object and not a creature once again
4. Nope for the reason above
5. NA
6. I have no idea, theres nothing that describe this as RAW. I argue not because i feel like that wasnt the design of an echo knight. Feel like if it did it would have mentioned carrying limit some point in the subclass design
7. Purely rp, but if you going with the alternate reality/realm of possibility echo. I would DM it as divination wont work as wont be able to lock down which future it will follow. If you meant the Portent feature then i would just say this works as normal mechanically.
8. Once again its DM discretion to your backstory and origin of your echo knight.
Alot of it is open to interpretation and DM ruling
6. NO - the echo can only be used to make attacks through, or scout with, if you use that feature. If you are equipped with a sword, then it can attack with a sword, not a bow. It is your character making the action through the space the echo is in. It cannot carry anything at all

I had a question or two about echo knights, and decided to create a forum about the archetype
1. If your echo casts disguise self, can they eliminate the wispy, obviously not a real person, appearance?
2. If you are a changeling, can both you and your echo shapechange separately?
3. If you cast mirror image, does your echo also get images?
4. If you are a trickery domain cleric and use invoke duplicity, does your echo also gain duplicates?
5. What happens if both 3 and 4 are true and you stack them as a level 17 cleric and level 3 fighter?
6. Can your echo carry equipment for you as a porter?
7. How does a Diviner Wizard’s visions of the future feature interact with the whole multiple timelines multiverse thing of an echo knight?
8. If your echo is from another material plane somehow, can you use it as the anchor for the Dream of the Blue Veil spell
If you have any additional questions about this fighter archetype, ask them here.
