I'm teaching my younger brother how to play DnD, and he's trying to make his character Wolverine. As DM, starting a new level one campaign, what can I do help him while keeping balance?
My 2cp worth would be to let him play the Barbarian Path of the Beast (in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything or search for "Unearthed Arcana 67 - Subclasses, Part 1" and you'll find the UA version although it looks identical), its basically Wolverine if you choose the claws option.
EDIT: flavour the damage resistance from the rage as Wolverines healing factor so rather than just taking less damage the character takes the full amount then looks to heal a portion of it almost instantly.

This is exactly what i was thinking!
