Hi. I created level 1 fighter and I chose "Great weapon fighting" for fighting style. I chose Maul for weapon. Maul damage is 2d6. Am I allowed to roll both damage dices again if I get single 1 or 2? Or just the dice with 1 or 2?
it's only the die that landed on a 1 or 2 that you are allowed to reroll. The text below refers to die, which is the singular of dice.
When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.
