Hi im playing now with my rogue and i was thinking about making him multiclass. For now i got 8STR 18DEX 14CON 10INT 12WIS 16CHA. Im 4 lvl swashbuckler fighting with 2 rapiers thanks to Dual Wielder Feat. My hp stands 31 and AC for now with Studded Leather is 17. Next lvl I'll gonna take 1 fighter lvl for Two-Weapon Fighting style. So i was thinking is there any good class or feat that coud me give me more DPR. I think that i don't wanna lose much rogue lvls cause its my essential choice. So some tips and advices would be helpfull to make me more durable, deadly or funny to play ^^
If TWF Fighting Style is all you're getting out of multiclassing into Fighter, it's not worth it. You're delaying your next Sneak Attack upgrade (which is already 3.5 damage on average), ASI, and Rogue class features for 4 damage.
You'd get more mileage out of 1 Warlock level (preferably Hexblade). Hex gets you a potential 2d6 more damage per round, and Fancy Footwork makes it easier to maintain concentration. Hexblade's Curse is short-lived but that'll get you another damage bonus and 5% more crits.
Mm, this is just me, but I think a totally okay option would also be draconic blood sorcerer. Some totally decent charisma there would give you fire bolt or some ranged cantrip to chase people down without having to totally change weapons. Plus that 13 base AC is at least one step better than non magic'd studded leather will do you.
That said, only taking one level in a caster won't scale very well into the late game, as your spells and slots won't improve.
You know booming blade doesn't work with two-weapon fighting/dual-wielding, right?
Can you elaborate? Are you saying you cannot use booming blade if you are dual wielding, or do you mean you can't use it twice? I imagine that there's no reason for a Rogue, who wants to maximise DPR not to take a level of warlock for Hex and Booming blade. Hex automatically makes up for the sneak attack dice loss, and booming blade is icing. Take 2 levels of lock and you get mask of many faces and a host of other awesome incantations suitable for the rogue class. Rogues get 1d6 sneak every 2 levels, so getting Hex is worth 2 rogue levels in this regard.
But Booming Blade states: As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the spell’s range, otherwise the spell fails.
So TWF states, that when you make an attack, you can use your bonus action to make an off-hand attack. So the point is that Booming blade is cast a spell action though it includes a weapon attack, thus you can't use your bonus action to make an off-hand attack? Where I was DMing, I'd allow making an off-hand attack after using Booming blade, but not 2 booming blades, even if the first fails.
So TWF states, that when you make an attack, you can use your bonus action to make an off-hand attack.
That's not quite what the rule on TWF says:
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attackaction and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
The part about the Attack action is key. Other actions that might involve weapon attacks (e.g. a Ranger's Multiattack) are balanced around the fact that you can't add TWF to them.
I'd recommend not bending the rules unless you're going to get a lot of value out of it. There's always a reason for why a rule exists, even if it's not obvious at first glance.
Yeah. I picked up on that when I went to read it myself. I think in the case that the OP is looking for, if you multiclass into Fighter for TWF, then you are not also going to multiclass into Warlock for Booming blade (though you could, as useless as it may be). The reason I dip into warlock as a rogue is to get medium armour, a shield and the ability to cast shield (hexblade). Then you are no longer a dual wielder, but in this case as a swashbuckler you are dual wielding, so it doesn't RP well.
Booming blade + Hex makes up for not being able to use an off-hand attack (except obviously as another chance to sneak attack if your miss on the main-hand).

Yeah Edited it through. Still some advices would be helpfull.
Talk to your DM. See if he'll let you trade out booming blade or Dual Wielder.

Two-Weapon Fighting requires the Attack action. Casting a spell uses the Cast A Spell action. They don't work together.
But Booming Blade states: As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a melee attack with a weapon against one creature within the spell’s range, otherwise the spell fails.
