So I was invited to a campaign that’s loosely Ebberon just turn of the century sort of feel. I’ve created a Rogue who will be of the thief subclass, and be a human of the Dragon marked passage.
Currently I’m not making a super super duper optimized character but wanted feedback and ideas on how to use my character concept effectively.
So 14, 18, 15 10 12 10 are his stats in order. We all get a free feat at lv one so I’m taking combined tavern brawler/grappler for mine. He has the urchin background and will likely be a jewel thief/street fighter.
im thinking I can use shove attacks and grapples to get sneak attacks off when I normally couldn’t as well as using my climbing ability to “break combat” to get out of sight to sneak attack/drop down on them. Yes I know a monk is likely more optimal but I like the idea of fast hands shenanigans with ball bearings, manacles, cabinets(Jackie Chan).
