Currently playing through OotA and am fulfilling the role of Rogue, Ranger. My character due to this is multiclassing to fill a need in the group and because I want to try it out in 5e. Fighter is in the class mix also, as I love the class and think Arcane Trickster and Battlemaster will be a lot of fun.
The character is a bit MAD, but I lucked out with really good rolls, and I will be able to pick up three feats instead of having to use the ability score increases.
Thus I would like to hear opinions on a feat choice specifically on "Resilient". Please feel free to suggest for the other two feats, but note I am fairly well decided on those already.
Couple things worth mentioning is that I started off as a Fighter and am using the Ranger Revised rules, and the characters race is Moon Elf which is a setting specific variant of the High Elf. The main idea behind this character is fun versatility, so please don't bother mentioning it is un-optimized for one thing or another.
The level break down for the campaign will be: Rogue 7/ Fighter 6/ Ranger 2
Since my save proficiencies are STR and Con, I figure it would be wise to pick up either Resilient WIS, or Dex. Of those two which do you think is the better choice for this character and why?
Couple of points on both that have come to mind.
WIS save proficiency is good for not being taken out of the fight. On the other hand Fey Ancestry grants advantages against charm and immunity to magical sleep, and it would be a wasted ASI as my Wis would end up at 15.
DEX save proficiency is good for matrixing damage, is a common roll and is synergistic with the Evasion feature. Plus I will be picking and disarming everything we come upon. On the other hand I have a good DEX score and will have Mage Hand Legerdemain.
Ability score wise, there is two possible choices as my DM has agreed to let me retcon once.
With Resilient Wis it would be: STR 14 DEX 20 CON 16 INT 18 WIS 15 CHA 11
With Resilient Dex it would be: STR 14 DEX 20 CON 18 INT 18 WIS 14 CHA 11
Definitely pick Dexterity for Resilient. You want to make the best of Evasion, since getting a fairly good AC shouldn't be a problem for you and you can always use Uncanny Dodge if you're hit; Dexterity saves are the easiest way to damage you. Also, you're going to get proficiency in Wisdom saves at level 15 anyways, and resisting Wis saves isn't a high priority for you. If it's a single target effect, better you than the spellcasters that can do something about it. If the whole party was affected, even if you do save, there's not much you can do to help the others.
Thanks for the replies guys, was leaning towards Dex for the same reasons InquisitiveCoder. Very much used to playing fighter and/or tank of the group though, so I am used to taking Resilient Wis.
Admittedly that is a strange level spread, but originally I though OotA brought a group all the way through level 20, and then figured out that it was only through 15 so I hope to get some more play out this guy beyond the campaign.

With Resilient Wis it would be:
STR 14
DEX 20
CON 16
INT 18
WIS 15
CHA 11
