Under the new casting rules can an abberant mind sorcerer use psionic sorcery and quicken spell to cast two spells on their turn? Psionic sorcery does not use a spell slot and i have heard a few people say you can cast misty step from the fey touched feat and a 1st level spell or higher in the same round since misty step from fey touched feat does not use a spell slot. Cometo think of it, mystic arcanum are not technically using spell slots either so you could do one of those and a 1st level spell or higher in the same round too.
No, because the new Quicken Spell metamagic specifically states you cannot use it if you have already cast a level 1+ spell that turn and if you do use it you can no longer cast a level 1+ spell for the remainder of the turn.

Am i missing something or is this correct?
Psionic sorcery does not use a spell slot, really? (that's weird)
Do you get like one use of each per long rest without a spell slot? And then the ability to cast with a spell slot after that?
Does the same thing go for Clockwork Spells for Clockwork Souls?

Aye. It works with the Psionic Spells - you can choose to cast with a spell slot as normal or you can instead cast without a spell slot at their base level by expending a number of Sorcery Points equal to the spell's level. Both 2014 and 2024 versions have this feature. You can use the Sorcery Point casting as often as you like - assuming you have the Sorcery Points to do so.

No.
