If I have two rods of the pact keeper do the effects stack? DND beyond lets me attune to both and the effects stack on the character sheet but somehow that doesn't seem right. I can't find any rules against it though. Anyone know whether this is "legal"?
Iirc, the general rules are you can't stack two of the same effect to get both bonuses usually. No doubling up on Haste or anything like that and no doubling down on magic items.

This, and you can't attune to two copies of the same magic item anyways.

Could you not just have a rod of the pact keeper +2 and a rod of the pact keeper +3???
They technically aren't the same magical item as they have different stat bonuses.
They are the same magic item, one just has a little more oomph. A +1 dagger and a +2 dagger are both still daggers. A +2 Rod of the Pact Keeper and a +3 Rod of the Pact Keeper are still both Rods of the Pact Keeper.

I don't always use the office printer.
But when I do it's to print my character sheet.

See, this guy has it
You can stack wand of the war mage and the rod of the pact keeper however for a total of up to +6 attack and +3 dc
Makes sense. Thanks.
