It might not be completely original but I am feeling a Sutter Cain vibe from the film "in the mouth of Madness". He's an author who writes lovecraftian style horror and the final book he writes blurs the lines between his fiction and reality...its a very good film if you've not seen it.
As a patron you could have Sutter Cain as a denizen of the library whose followers (warlocks) believe the written word shapes reality and they seek to write story in which they can bring him to the material plane. If used as a story telling motive a DM you could have pages or scrolls found which appear to foretell of the page being found , ie if a character named Asiah picked up the page it would say "Asiah rummaged throught he stacks of books and picked out a scroll at random and marvelled as he read of himself discovering it", maybe each followers TOme form teh pact has a page like that in it where it details how they came to be in his service.

Weird I like it. I imagine the Archive to be the construct of some long forgotten Demi god or archdevil. The archive has taken on a sentience of its own and craves unlimited arcane occult knowledge. The archive and its caretaker give tomes to warlock to “infect” other libraries in search of new volumes.

As the title suggests, I'm brainstorming a Fiend Patron (for a Tome Lock) called the Accursed Archive. This is based on the Homebrew Patron of the same name from the Compendium of Forgotten Secrets https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sIVR1H3-Jf9fAMWybw0Za3hVjr3RCozm/view
The patron could be the Librarian (the Silent One) or the Archive, itself or both.
Who or what is this patron?
Creative brain-stuff wanted!
