I'm fairly new to the site and want to create a new patron for the warlock. however, I am terrible at making homebrew. I'm going for a Lliira patron (goddess of joy in the forgotten realms) for a halfling with a sage background. Any tips?
Typically patrons aren't gods. There semi divine beings. If they were a patron still, then archfey would work. Maybe celestial patron. If not, life cleric is a good idea.

Lliira is very interesting, and if I may suggest, as goddess of Joy and dancing, the patron herself be a female Feywild Satyr in service of Llira? Satyrs are of course known for hedonism, but also for music, pleasure and dance. They don't all have to be letches. Here's some concept mythology for you: http://www.theoi.com/Georgikos/Satyroi.html
