After taking the Pact of the Tome, it costs 50 gp to add a ritual spell to my Book of Shadows. If I visit a book shop that has spellbooks and the cost to copy spells is 25 gp, then do I need to pay 75 gp to add the spell to my Book of Shadows? That is, do I need to pay the book shop fee plus my normal inscribing cost? (Would the same be true for a wizard who visits the book shop?)
So are you saying the book store is selling the books or spells for 25gp? Sorry I’m not quite sure what you mean.
I would assume that if I were to find an shop that had spell books or spell scrolls you would have to purchase them. A blank spell book costs 50gp so I would assume getting one with spells or scrolls would be more.
either way, it costs the 50gp per spell level to put it in your BoAS on top of any other cost of getting those rituals. Unless you have a wizard in your party who lets you do it for free. Or you find one. Then it would just be the 50gp per spell level.
I would say yes. The 50gp is to cover the cost of the special inks and things needed to scribe to your book of shadows. If I am reading you properly, the 25gp fee would be to the owner of the spellbook store, which would be above and beyond the cost of your inks and quills and such.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
To clarify ... according to the adventure, the bookshop owner charges a fee for wizards (and I’m assuming warlocks who have a Book of Shadows) to sit and copy spells from spellbooks he has in the shop. The cost to copy a 1st-level spell is 25 gp. (The bookshop owner can also make a spell scroll of a 1st-level spell for 50 gp.) So if my warlock wants to put a 1st-level ritual spell in her Book of Shadows, I’m assuming she needs to pay the 25 gp fee to the bookshop owner AND deduct 50 gp from her funds to cover the cost of “rare inks” (PHB, p. 110). Thus, if my warlock is low on funds, it’s clearly preferable to find a spellbook (with ritual spells of interest) than to pay to copy ritual spells from the spellbooks at the bookshop. Correct??
