I have recently started a new campaign with a new character but never fully fleshed out my backstory. Her name is Melinoe she is a Fallen Aasimar Warlock with Mad God patron. my main idea had been to play her fairly mysterious, aloof and a little crazy in the head gradually getting worse. I'm struggling with how to create a whole backstory on this though and would appreciate any help? or basic ideas?
Is the Mad God patron a great old one? I'm not certain I am familiar with that one. I've got some ideas brewing but I want to make sure I understand what you're looking for

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
OK so maybe your Fallen Aasimar is decended from an /enemy/ of your patron. The celestial had great plans for you, but you resisted. You didn't /want/ to be some holy warrior in service to your ancestor and doing deeds in his or her name. To you, that sounded a lot like servitude, but via your angelic guide, your ancestor was quite insistent and was not taking "no" for an answer.
Then, the Mad God, the enemy of your ancestor comes along and says, "What if I told you there's another way...a way to follow your own path, to live your own life. I could offer you great power..."
The Mad God might be willing to do it JUST to spite your ancestor, or perhaps your ancestor wanted to use you as a weapon against the Mad God, so he subverted you so you're no longer a threat to him.

I just started a hexblde character who is a fallen assumer. Someone he loved was tricked a powerful succubus who now has control over the person's soul. The succubus is Invadiah. She was the most powerful Erinyes in the Nine Hells. She was involved in a plot to trick Asmodeus but it failed due to betrayal. She was punished by "demoting" her to succubus and now she is growing strong enough to take back what was hers and become an Erinye again. So she has "recruited" the Assimar to fight for her or die trying. If he dies while fighting (he has to try to fight and not just let himself be killed) or succeeds, he will have won in saving the soul of his beloved. If he dies they will be reunited, if he succeeds, she will be waiting for him (if he isn't damned himself). Still fleshing it all out.
