So im playing a scribes wizard in a westmarch campaign so I get a lot of money. I have ended up buying the libram of souls and flesh ,and currently own a fulminating treatiese . I tend to struggle when reading complex abilities. So with the final paragraph can I just change from fulminating treatise to libram of souls by transfering my spell books conchence and add all the spells ive learned hence forth considering they both require attunement, including the high level spells that i cant cast. I have dms voting but I want to see what others think. Paragraph in question bellow
If necessary, you can replace the book over the course of a short rest by using your Wizardly Quill to write arcane sigils in a blank book or a magic spellbook to which you’re attuned. At the end of the rest, your spellbook’s consciousness is summoned into the new book, which the consciousness transforms into your spellbook, along with all its spells. If the previous book still existed somewhere, all the spells vanish from its pages
Ik that was a stupid question im just trying to cover all my bases so my dms wich ive shared the link to have as much info as possible. If necessary, any ideas on how to nerf it?tho I dont see the need for nerfing it considering i still need to use 2 attunement slots for 1 exchange.

I agree it really doesn’t have to be nerfed. But if you really must, maybe say the spells that came in the book need to be copied over the long way. So they wouldn’t get transferred as a short rest like the over spells, you’d treat them like you needed to copy them into your book for the first time. For a scribes wizard, of course, that won’t take very long anyway. But it would be a little speed bump.

Yes, you can do that. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to; that's exactly what that paragraph says you can do.

Would i be able to just up and do it or would I need to destroy/lose the pre existing spell book. If culminating treatise can even be destroyed
It doesn't say the old one is destroyed, so no, the old one is not destroyed. It does say the spells vanish from it, but otherwise it's still intact.

I don't see any reason why this would need to be nerfed.
