Which is your preferred way to use spells? Do you like using components and making spells with your own hands or focusing your magic through your own object of power to blast down your enemies

Bardic Inspiration is just someone believing in you, and I believe in you
Focus. (With homebrew rule that it needs to be on your person not in your hand)
The idea of mages (especially sorcerers) juggling odd items in the middle of battles looks silly in my head. Depending on the component it may go from slightly odd to utterly ridiculous. Every now and again, a spell may call for one where it makes a bit of sense. But this is rare.
I think material components should only be for certain spells that take longer than an action - the stuff that makes it seem like a ritual.
To compare to TV Series where component-spellcasting is used: I prefer The Magicians over The Dresden Files.

It depends. I like getting inspired on a character and I make my choice that way. Honestly if you can describe your spell casting in creative ways then either works. I like using components most of the time.
I'm for components, it adds flavor to the character and the act of pulling them out is quite easily for an organized wizard. Sticking your hand into a vial of molasses and spreading the drops it in a motion across the battlefield so the drops hit enemies and the Slow sets in never gets old.
I prefer components and wands, because if even you ranout of spellslots to use, then you can use the wand. And about the components, just use sacks, pouches, or potion bottles.

Choice of components/wands/foci has no effect on spell slots. If you have no more spell slots, you cannot cast your spells greater than a cantrip no matter if you're using a component pouch or a wand or any other foci.

Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.

Maybe Harry Potter and Doctor Who (sonic screwdriver kind of a wand) ruined me, but I really just prefer the aesthetic of a caster with a wand.
I think it depends a lot on what kind of character you're playing, what you think they'd pick.
And those who uses wand should get a Wand Proficiency, or a skill that could get an extra damage or bonuses while using those.
