Making Homebrew items is something I love to do, what I'm wondering us why I can't make a non magic Homebrew items, yes magic items are usually amazing, but sometimes I think that nonmagic items if given homebrew could lead to some really cool creations, so please, consider this idea

Marvarax andSora (Dragonborn) The retired fighter and WIP scholar - Glory
Brythel(Dwarf), The dwarf with a gun - survival at sea
Jaylin(Human), Paladin of Lathander's Ancient ways - The Seven Saints (Azura Claw)
Urselles(Goblin), Cleric of Eldath- The Wizard's challenge
Viclas Tyrin(Half Elf), Student of the Elven arts- Indrafatmoko's Defiance in Phlan
+1 I believe the workaround for the moment is to make them as a "common" magic item and just note they are magical, but I agree that a mundane item homebrew would be helpful. (Especially one that let one create weapons with different properties)
Running in to this issue now with my Artificer. We made a Homebrew rule that the Boomerang has the thrown property, but any way I homebrew this as an item, I can't infuse it with the artificer rules. Would love a way to set it as non magical.

i agree.. since some DMs allow Adamantine or Mithril to be considered "non-magic" but no way to homebrew them as such to make eligible for infusion
