Can the pages for Homebrew Content have some way of hiding the big red boxes or red text that seem to be judging and punishing me for not being 100% original? Things like this:
Rejected for:
Too Similar - We understand minor variations can be used in home games, but minor changes cannot be submitted for public homebrew viewing. Feel free to use these privately.
OR
This Item cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
Item X is currently too similar to Item Y to share with the community.
Remember, private homebrew is automatically shared with other users in your campaigns and does not need to be shared with the community for players to access.
I understand why these appear. I understand what they mean and I don't disagree with them.
But as someone who already starts to question myself any time I dip my toes into homebrew, as a person who constant says to myself "yeah but that's not canon is it, that's not what it says in the book".....seeing these really makes me discouraged to homebrew.
I know that's not intentional, and that it's my own internal issue. A mentally healthy person wouldn't care what minor warning was there....
...but I also think there's probably a lot of other people just like me.
It'd just be nice if there was a way to dismiss these notifications, or minimize them, rather than them being at the very forefront of the thing I'm trying to create. Thank you! Hopefully I'm not being too needy or soft skinned here.

This issue has come up on other threads. What I’d like to see is an option to check a box/button along the lines of “I get it, I can’t publish this” and have that text disappear, or at least collapse to one simple line. Most of my homebrew is intended only for my/my campaigns use and doesn’t fit the publishing rules; I, too, find the warnings annoying and space hogging, even though I know why they are there.

I completely agree.
I have only dinked around in the Homebrew stuff and not actually made anything, but whenever I actually do, I have zero intention of making anything I homebrew public. It will only be for my campaign, period.
There should be a check box for each item where you can mark it "private only" or something, right as you are creating this item ("Make this thing private, yes/no") and if I check that off, no warnings. If I un-check it, then I get the warnings again.

WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.

The annoying box shows up whenever I make a spell linking to a homebrew creature, or an NPC linking to a homebrew spell.
Maybe something can be done with that?
