I really like this feature which shows a brief stat block when you hover over a monster name in adventure text. Would it be possible to include the common attacks/actions in this block to save having to go into the full description and back out again.
D&D Beyond offers the ability to link certain aspects on the forum in mouse-over triggered tooltips, such as magic items, monsters or combat actions - examples being Adult Black Dragon and dash. To create tooltips in this way as these, use the appropriate [tag][/tag] around the desired subject.
Example: [ magicitem]sunblade[/ magicitem] (Without spaces within the [ ] brackets.)
To clarify, you mean to have the tooltip over a monster to include their attacks/extra abilities, correct?
It's an interesting idea, although if it does happen, it's more likely to be a preview than their full attacks. It may be a little too much effort to scan through the hundreds of monsters and figure out what their most common actions are. But I imagine even a preview/small portion would be helpful anyway.
EDIT: For everyone curious, the thread that showcases how to add the tooltips, either on your forum or your own homebrew, is here - there's nothing new compared to Subsistcyber's post here, but it might be handy as a general reference.
I think OP was saying that he would like to see more content in the tooltip. I do not disagree. Having the attacks listed in the popup would save a bunch of time.

I had not yet seen this all in one place. Thank you for posting the reference!
Thanks for the replies. My original request was to do with the main site, particularly the rule books and adventures and not in the forums.
