I know of the Extras section on the sheet, however, I feel more could be done for classes with pets or the ability to obtain them. Drakewarden pets can't be found in the Extra's section, maybe others too. I'm mainly speaking for classes with a single pet, but I could see necromancers and shepherds loving some of these features too.
- When you take a short rest, an option for rolling their hit-die in the same area. - Pet HP in/under/beside the players - Pet checks/saves in/under/beside the players - Pet passive senses in/under/beside the players - Pet spells if any in a tab near/inside the players spell list - Pet actions near/inside the players list - Pet skills in/under/beside the players - Pet equipment in/under/beside the players - To access the Drakewarden pet, they have to click features, scroll down and find it, click on the entry, scroll down to the stat block. --- In addition to that, the stat block isn't calculated to the player sheet, nor can they click/roll with any of it the way a player can. - Allow the DM to see pet stats like player stats on the app
I'm sure there's more, but basically, to some classes.. the pet is just as important as another player.
The Drakewarden’s drake, the new/optional beastmaster companions and numerous others aren’t found in extras because they involve new(er) mechanics/calculations that the extras menu as stands can’t accommodate. (Notably all the things dependent on the PC’s proficiency bonus). At some point that will be addressed, but given how slow DDB development tends to be (probably for good reason), it will likely be a while.
In the meantime, one workaround is to homebrew a “monster” for the creature(s) in question. Then it can be added through the extras menu (generally in the misc. category) and most of what you want is then visible by selecting the creature in the extras menu.
Technically they aren’t “pets,” they’re Companions, hence the issues ArwensDaughter explained. The mouse (rat) from the Urchin background is a “pet,” meaning it has no special rules, only the basic statblock. (That’s why the Extras section lists Pets separate from Companions in the dropdown.)

Super cool thank you.

Absolutely not going to argue semantics on this one. I'm sure you understand what someone is trying to say without nitpicking.
