Coupled with the fact that the Feature Roadmap that was posted 2-ish years ago seems to have since been deleted means that posting feedback here, or in the feedback portal, or anywhere on or off this website feels ignored. Developers will comment on posts sometimes, and I understand that they can't respond to every single thread suggesting small features, but the Feature Request portal seems abandoned completely.
I can't find any evidence anywhere that the Feature Suggest portal is still being used. I can't find anywhere why the roadmap was taken down. I'm sure there are many cool things in the pipeline for DDB, including things many of us have been asking for, but we can't see it. Features just kinda come out every once in a while, like the encounter builder. We won't know how long it's going to be in Beta for. We don't know what features are still planned for it from the suggestions in the suggestion portal.
Please bring back the roadmap. Please start using the Feature Request portal again to mark features as planned or not planned.

Leaving OGL 1.0(a) untouched and making SRD 5.1 CC-BY-4.0 is a great first step. The next is a promise to do the same for future editions. Here's a discussion thread on that.
I'd be happy with any kind of way that shows what they're working on. They could be monthly or even bi-monthly for all I care. Just something to show that there's new things coming.

Ever since Adam left, quality communication from DDB has taken a nose dive. Awful communication and slow development are big reasons I'm not renewing my subscription this year. The team really dropped the ball last year and it looks like this is the course we're stuck on...

I'm currently subscribed because there are a few campaigns I'm part of that rely on the sourcebooks I own. The stuff that is there is good, though it has its issues, and imo good enough to keep paying the subscription, at least for now.
I wasn't really active in the forums until recently, so I don't really know what it was like when Adam was around. Was he a community manager? Has he since not been replaced?

Adam was the cofounder of DDB, VP of table top gaming at Fandom, and-among other things, the public face of DDB, but not the community manager. When he left, his responsibilities were split out differently. At the same time he left, the then community manager (Oboe Lauren) left. Joe was hired to take over the dev updates that Adam did, plus oversee the video content and articles that Todd was handling (Todd left at the same time). Mellie took over as community manager, and she’s great, but according to posts she has made elsewhere on these forums, she’s had some health things slow her down, at least in the not too distant past. She is also the community manager for The Cortex game Fandom owns/is developing. No one has quite been able to replace Adam’s occasional but vital presence on these forums. Joe’s skill set is great for the role he has, even if his humor isn’t my style, but when he speaks for the company, his statements don’t have the same authority Adam’s did, as Joe is not in charge of DDB where as Adam essentially was..

Thanks for the context! I've been using DDB for a long time but I never hung around on the forums until recently, so this brings things into perspective a bit more.
Was it ever stated why these people left? DDB has only existed for a few years, so I'm surprised some of the founders have already left.

They left to pursue other things as opportunities presented themselves:
Adam joined Demiplane as their chief development officer and is now heading up development of two digital toolsets, one for Pathfinder 2e and one for Free League Publishing
Lauren joined Codenamed Entertainment, developers of Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, as community manager.
Todd went back to working on his own YouTube channel and producing content there with his wife Megan, before recently joining Wizards of the Coast as their video content lead
Basically they all had great new opportunities come up all about the same time. Due to the human brain loathing coincidence, people immediately saw this an ill omen and a portent of doom. lol

Thanks, Davyd; I had meant to add a couple lines at the end of my post above explaining them all leaving at the same time was coincidence due to great opportunities elsewhere, and forgot.

Fair play to filling in those blanks.
Reverting back to the point of the post, could the moderators help fill the hole created with Mellie's health issues by posting up the dev update one pager that Joe shares on the YouTube videos.
It would be nice (and expected) to see that level of information on the website that it refers to, rather than having to go externally to find it - how about Joe mails it over to you after he finishes his filming and when you have 10 minutes you post it as a new thread?
It would make, at least, 10 of us happier than we are today :)
The Feature Requests website is great. It shows that you guys are willing to let the user be involved with the process of improving the website.
It is also, from the looks of it, completely unused by the devs.
Filtering by showing "planned" only, the last thread to actually be marked as "planned" was at least three years ago. That's a bad look. Many, many good features have been discussed and requested since, with the most popular ones (including ones that are, in fact, marked as planned) being doomed to only have "Any news on this?" comments every few years.
We, as users, have no idea what's coming for D&D Beyond. We have no idea whether vital TTRPG features that we have been requesting for literal years and are marked as "Planned" will every happen. Hell, even some features that would get some of us off your back by now being able to tell us "want a feature on our site? Just develop it yourself" are collecting dust.
I can't find any evidence anywhere that the Feature Suggest portal is still being used. I can't find anywhere why the roadmap was taken down. I'm sure there are many cool things in the pipeline for DDB, including things many of us have been asking for, but we can't see it.
