This is less a question about the Dragons wrath weapons from Fizbans but more a DDB inquiry.
Will DDB be expanding the weapon for character building to be more than a long sword?
I only ask because I have a player; a Barbarian who has a Dragons Wrath Great axe and I have to have him keep the long sword in his inventory just to keep the details and effects. While he has a separate weapon to make his attack rolls and damage with.
Because of the many variations, creating all the possible options for dragons wraths weapons, they would have to create over 1000 of them, if memory serves. What you can do, if you have purchased Fizban’s or the weapon is homebrew a copy, change the kind of weapon, etc. If you have access to the sword through content sharing, whoever owns Fizban’s can do that for you.
they do plan to eventually make it possible to choose the various features of the weapon, but that may be a long ways out.

Based on the permutations of options, it'd be over 1,600 different weapons!
