I know this may seem a bit odd, especially since I can just write any stuff i want on any word processor I want, but I was thinking it would be cool if we were able to create "Homebrew Compendium Content". I really like the formatting of the compendium content on this website and I believe something like this could help the homebrew community on Beyond share stories and other custom content by allowing us to compile our own "books" and publish them to the homebrew listing.
Another way to think of homebrew compendium content is to think of it as a central location for authors of homebrew content to compile their monsters, spells, magical items, and more into a single, unified source that people on here can view. Think of all of the adventures and rules people could write and then share publicly, allowing us to seamlessly integrate the content they wrote into the D&D Beyond experience.
Of course this isn't something I would expect to see any time soon, since the developers are probably busy with more important things. But I think that to have this on the roadmap to have one day would be awesome.
Defiantly would be a nice addition to have down the road once they have all the typical bits and bobs done. Especially since I can see much of the home-brew stuff that is being created now tying into a larger compendium.
As a user, I would love to see this. But I'm also aware that it adds an incredible amount of work for the moderators who have to approve homebrew. Reading a potentially long compendium and establishing that it doesn't violate copyright is a MUCH more lengthy and intensive process than vetting the other homebrew categories already possible.

As is writing that compendium, so it's not quite as bad as I think you think.

Well this is completely unrelated to the subject, but I am curious of why my alternate version of gnomes, is rejected?
If you PM a moderator, they should be able to help.
A Homebrew compendium is something I thought of a few weeks ago. I'm glad that I am not the only one who would enjoy this feature. I like the formatting on the website and it would be way to share specific house rules or create homebrew adventures. I agree the moderation of this could be difficult.
The moderators have orange usernames with a sword next to them. Click on the username and it should take you to their profile. There should be a button labeled "send private message." Click that an it should bring up a page where you can type a subject and the message. After typing the message, click the send message button at the bottom of the page.
I hope this helped.

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
This is one of the things I was expecting to be part of the initial homebrew release.
. . . I have high expectations.

How would I be able to do that?
