I would assume that's it's gone at this point. Any time you are submitting lengthy session-based, web form data, it would be recommended to compile this within a local work processor so that you can save and backup as needed. Relying upon a web session to not expire or error upon submission is just bad news/practice.
Hopefully, this work isn't too hard to recompile. :(
I learned the lesson of having material saved in multiple places myself. I'd had to keep copying from a text file to my NOTES - OTHER section, since it kept getting cut off at the same point. Then I noticed just now that it was cutting off where I had a '<'. It still happened with ≤, but after I removed the symbol entirely, the problem stopped! Probably an html confusion issue?
Yeah, I don't like that this happens sometimes but I do keep a copy of my background in the internet. Every time I write something I record it in a google docs so that helps.
I'd also add that ~200-pages worth of text would be a lot for any not text document to handle including Dndbeyond and would probably be worth keeping in a separate document just to ensure that your character sheet doesn't get filled by some character limit (that may or may not exist, IDK that amount of words is a lot). You'd basically be storing a book on a character sheet and the character sheet doesn't always load properly when there isn't an extra 2 kilobytes of data to load.
is there a way to retrieve my last save or is my hard work just gone?>!
