I don't mean to be picky about things but the search engine on the site is really... well... annoying.
The only real problem with it is that when I try to search something, the search engine edits my search, replacing all my words with similar ones (whether spelled similarly or similar in definition). In the near future, could this be changed?

Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
My issue with the search is that 9/10 times I know exactly what category I want to be searching in so I either have to load a separate search to do my search, or use the global search and sift through a bunch of other categories I don't care about.
1) Allow us to search by source (or exclude sources such as Forums...)
2) Give us a toggle to search through text (for items, monsters etc)
3) Magic Items, allow a "random search" or generate a result based on Treasure Table type (ie if I want Hoard Treasure for CR 11) just let me click and come up with a nice random set of loot I can start with. The current problem is that none of the new items are on the DMG loot tables.
4) Search by source page number. I don't have the book in front of me all the time. But on Google things reference page numbers more often than just chapter/section.
5) Let me setup bookmarks to materials in my DnDBeyond.com account. I could do this via browser but makes sense to keep it together (now I'm veering into campaign management sorry).

NOTE: You will need to setup a zendesk account (which is not your DnDBeyond.com account, the team uses this 3rd party software). It's easy to do and your votes are needed!
Stop providing spoilers on the results by removing breadcrumbs from sources you haven't purchased or have shared. Goes hand in hand with better granulated sharing.
Do you have an example of a search? I have never had this happen to me. What are some of the things it is changing?
For example, when I try to search "Shadow of Ravenloft", it changes the words to "Shadows in the Raven's Loft"

Mobile - Is your phone/tablet autocorrecting? Or are you clicking one of the dropdown options?
Desktop - If I type Shadow of Ravenloft and hit enter my search isn't changed or anything. I do see different combinations of options as a drop down but hitting enter after typing doesn't show my search changed, just searches what I typed in.
Yes, it's very cumbersome and not very accurate. They really should bring in someone who's an expert at creating search engines to, at the very least as a short term contractor to make search, well, usable.

I'd also like to be able to search with quoted phrases.

Also, not being able to search within sources is incredibly frustrating and something many people have called for many times since DDB's inception.
