I'd like to suggest that the "Replace Damage Type" option for homebrew weapons be expanded into other damage types. The sunblade is the source of this option, but the builder is currently limited to just radiant damage. I think this should be expanded into not just other possible elemental types, but also mundane types. A reverse-blade sword that deals bludgeoning damage instead of slashing, for example. :) Or a whip made of lightning, etc.

Agreed! Looking to modify simple melee weapons to fit my monk and I'm stuck.
Badeye mentioned today that this bug has been fixed. The whole range of damage types is now available here.
