So why are magical item not the same in dnd hard back compared to dnd beyond i mean like the iconic frostbrand and the flametoung there no plus to the weapons but there are in every Dungeons master guide i have ever seen and I been playing sence 1981 so its been some time
so im not sure what your asking? the flametongue has no plus to the weapon in the current book its in, nor on dnd beyond. you might have an outdated physical book?
Special weapons like flame-tongue don't have the +1/+2 etc bonus because magic items are balanced differently in this edition.
You can, however get some weapons that are +1/+2/+3. You can get a +1 longsword, or +2 chainmail. But most magical items don't list the bonus in the title anymore, but many do still have the bonus - it's just in the description.
D&D Beyond is only for 5th Edition. You'll need to ask the people who made the edition about this and none of them read these forums.
