I am running a Westmarches type game and players have joined my campaign and added their characters. But this week one of the players is going to take a turn to DM and I have created a character but can’t find a way to add her to the campaign? Am I missing something or is that not currently possible?
When you create the encounter and attach it to the campaign, the encounter locks in the party as it was when the encounter was attached. To get it to update to the new party configuration you’ll have to edit the encounter, deselect the campaign by choosing one of the default options, and then reselect the campaign.
not sure what you mean when you say "deselect the campaign by choosing one of the default options". I see no way to de-select the campaign in the encounter.
Not in the encounter, in the encounter builder. Where it says the name of the campaign, click it and it’s a drop-down. Simply select one of the generic options and then click it again and scroll down and select the campaign again.
There is no dropdown in the encounter builder. Clicking the campaign name just takes me to the campaign page. Using manage characters allows me to hide/unhide the NPC, which will suffice. Apparently, there's also no good way to post a screenshot.
You must first host the image on a site like http://Imgur.com (Google’s no good), and then you need the “direct link” that ends in .jpg or .png to embed it here.
My apologies. First you have to click/tap “Manage Characters,” then where you see the campaign name in the dropdown you select one of the generic campaign setups and then res elect the actual campaign:
That👆will update the character levels for the campaign for ya.

Use the same join link as your players.
Haha. Didn’t even think to try that. The option was sneakily hidden in plain sight. Thanks.
Me either! Thanks!
Interplanetary Camo! Grow Metal!
I can do this, but I don't get my character showing up in the combat tracker during encounters. Anyone have a thought?
