I`m sure I`m not the first person to bring up this subject, but where is Forgotten Realms for 5E. It is the default setting for 5E, and yet no where can it be found in a usable format. Ideally it should be an online subscription service, so that players can download maps and the info they need for their campaign. Of course I have had this little rant and it may turn out that there is something I don`t know about, in which case can anyone help?
I mean my first comment is this is feedback for DnDBeyond part fo the forums and therefore this should be placed somewhere else, as this is feedback about the site and its service not really what Wizards puts out which should be commented at WotC themselves.
Earlier editions and the internets would be your best bet for potentially finding maps of the whole plane of toril. 5e hasn't really done a this it the whole plane thing mainly because FE has some many subsettings in it such as Al Quadim which usually would have had whole books to themsleves in the past. Most the prewriiten adventures give you maps and details to specific parts of the world tthey are concerned with. Mainly the sword coast of Toril. The only area bar that we have visited is ToA with the island of Chult. The thing to remember is DnD as editions have gone on have liked to keep parts of the map unfilled or lacking detail mainly cause they do not want DMs to feel like they cannot make stuff up in established settings.
Every adventure that has been put out for 5e has been set in the Forgotten Realms (except Ravenloft). There are tons of maps. Mike Schley does a nice big one, for instance. Storm King's Thunder highly details Northern Faerûn.
Then there's the http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/ which, while not entirely updated for 5e, is still a massive resource for Forgotten Realms lore.
So not entirely sure what you're on about when you say there's no 'usable format'.
