In the character classes (and probably other places) under level features list you can click on an item and it takes you lower on the page that explains it. It would be much nicer if it would just have a tooltip popup on hover like other links on the same page.

The most memorable stories always begin with failure.
Those compendium pages are designed with links to help you navigate around (especially with some class features which are giant paragraphs long). Staff have said additional tooltips would be looked at after launch, however I don't believe tooltips are going to be put into the class features table.

Seems strange to do it one way every where else, in the same page even, but in the table you don't get tooltips.

Because the table is meant to link you to the section further down on the same page, not to a different page. Tooltips are designed to get you pop ups of info from other areas of the site, not the page you are on.
I understand the concept in theory, but in practice it seems clunky. Flipping up and down the page to see the information I want and at what level it comes in is not user friendly.
but I may be the only one who cares and it's not a deal breaker by any means.

I just now started to play around with Tooltips, and you're not the only one.
I understand how Tooltips are meant to pull information from other pages, not elsewhere within the same page, but the later would be really useful, too.
