My group plays over Discord, and it's a bit of a pain for the DM to keep track of everything during an encounter, having to repeatedly switch back and forth between tabs and windows. We currently use a bot I made to make dice rolls. Would it be possible for an API to be implemented so that that bot can keep track of much more, alleviating the stress on the DM? Read/write access to character sheets is a must, but read access to things like monsters, items, and spells would be nice, too. I saw some stuff from a while back that said an API is planned, but nothing since.
We also use discord... if I find some time this weekend I may try to make a chrome extension that regex's the page for dice roll looking things and then sends those to discord via their api. There are other DNDBeyond chrome extensions out there, but none of them are open and none of them integrate with dndbeyond.

Anything more on this, guys? My DM just got us all set up on D&D Beyond, and we like it, but we also separately use ==REMOVED== to look up spells and stuff, and to roll dice when we aren't meeting in person.
It would be super nice to integrate the two, or at least be able to call on the D&DB data from another bot in the same discord channel with ==REMOVED==. I might look into using some of the code from Beyond Help in a headless instance of Chrome on a server somewhere, as a Discord bot. That'd be neat.
Anyone know if there are any tools or extensions at all for the new character sheet system?

This question is curious. Because martzcodes from 4 post up indeed worked on giving support to discord to the old character sheet (check his fork), and it was amazing.
We were working together some time ago, but I ended up starting on a new job and kind of put beyond help on hold. But I am back now. Also since the new sheet is out maybe martzcodes will want to update it.

And I cast Heroism on the community.

Just a quick note - I have removed the name of the service that was being referenced.
Having checked it out, whilst it does indeed look really cool - it is offering Wizards of the Coast paid content for free, which is not allowed.
Please do not discuss services that promote piracy of the D&D game.

Yeah, it's on my todo list. The group of us trying to merge forces somewhat fizzled out.
I generally like the new character sheet but it makes some things more difficult from a parsing perspective.
I also which there was a druid beast-tracker so i don't have to manually look up all the things i can turn into... (edit: oooh "wild shape monster integration" mentioned on https://www.dndbeyond.com/changelog/256-character-sheet-revamp )
