So, I can't help but notice that the Legendary Bundle discount is gone from the newest core rule books.
I was under the impression that I got the discount on all FIFTH edition books. So, is this not an extension of fifth edition like you guys have been trying to push or is it actually a new edition? Because I'd really like a side to be picked.
I noticed that too and really hope this is just a bug or really horrible oversight. If they completely discontinue the legendary bundle bonus going forward I honestly feel kind of scammed not gonna lie.
I spent a lot of money to get that discount, a lot of money. I know a lot of people did.
If this is a brand new edition, that's one thing. But if this is an extension of 5e, as they've been pushing- it's just "2024 5e!", I'm upset. That $5 is nothing to them, nothing. For a low income person like myself, that can make the difference sometimes. I'm already spending my hard earned money on their books. I'm a loyal customer, and I have been a loyal customer through all of this bull they've been doing. I'd like my discount if this is, in fact, 5e.

So this is separate from the issue of discounts stacking during the sale (which I still haven't heard any word on, so let me get that out of the way now).
There are no discounts at all on the 2024 core rulebooks. That's all the information I've got right now.

Ouch. That hurts, but somehow not unexpected... the Legendary bundle seems to be gone from the Marketplace.
I was about to place my preorder for the new core rulebooks when I noticed that the legendary discount was not being applied. The purchase of the legendary bundle clearly included a 15% discount off all future book purchases. If WOTC/D&D Beyond are going to renege on that promise, why would I trust them for any future purchases?
I would like to take this opportunity to officially eat my words. This time, when I went into the cart, I found that the Legendary Bundle discount was now being applied. My preorder is placed.

I see the Legendary Discount for digital orders. It lists the PHB as 25.99 for me versus 29.99. If you buy the bundle, then it is 76 so the legendary discount is working.
Please note that the legendary discount ONLY applies to digital only. If you get the physical + digital, then you do not get the discount as the digital discount for the bundle is better than legendary.
I agree completely. I would rather them raise the price of their books to counteract the discount, if they are that worried about a discounted price. Them taking it away completely is BS. If they want it gone completely that is fine too but grandfather people in who purchased the bundle deals already in order to get the discount.
