I logged in today to check to see what new player options might be out that I might have missed over the past 6-7 months, and I found something very interesting. Seems that a lot of items are no longer able to be bought "piecemeal", meaning that WotC has backed it's dndbeyond users into the corner of "drop the whole wad of cash or miss out".
I've spent only about 30 minutes looking into this issue, and it seemed to start with the Book of Many Things content, and a statement made by WotC that the BOMT is effectively too interconnected with itself in it's content to sell piecemeal. While I understand what the stated sentiment is trying to get at here, please hear me when I say that is still not acceptable. 3 Spells, 1 Feat, and 2 Backgrounds shouldn't even cost a person $30 let alone $100 as was the original price, yet here we are.
It was also stated that the Book of Many Things and only a few books going forward would be unable to be sold piecemeal (Oh, and the third party books, but I really don't care about them so much right now), but it seems, as of right now, not only are none of the newer books able to be sectioned off and bought for, say, only their player options, but I see no options for individual items purchasing for any of the books that existed prior to 2024 either, which would likely mean this has been changed retroactively. (I owned nothing from Mythic Odyssey of Theros, and when I checked the page of that book, I could not find anything that would let me buy individual items.)
This was done on April 30th with the Marketplace redesign. The link in my sig gives a quick overview of the main changes, and then my thoughts about it (which, surprising nobody, are rather negative).

Echo Knight worked for me two weeks & now it doesn't. So it definitely wasn't taken away on April 30th
All the third-party subclasses are currently unavailable for the 2024 classes. You can use them with the old classes by turning on the legacy toggle and using the legacy version.
if that doesn't work, try syncing your entitlements (user menu->account->licenses)
Third-party subclasses can also be homebrewed for the 2024 classes in the meantime without issue. It's not the subclasses that are the issue, it's gotta be some sort of legal issue. Funny enough, because it takes no updates, the races from third-party sources are still accessible in 2024 class builds.

Genuinely, what's going on here?

There is a 41+ page long topic about this that is ongoing. Most people are understandably furious.
