I'm new to D&D Beyond so the answer may be obvious somewhere. As someone who already owns the physical books and is interested in utilising D&D Beyond's tools such as the character builder etc. is it possible to purchase a package of non-compendium content only? Or would that just be the same as purchasing the races, classes, feats packages etc. for each book individually? I don't really need what is essentially a digital .PDF of the books I already own.
there are options to purchase subclasses, races, feats etc individually, which will allow you to both use them in the character builder and view the compendium content for what you have unlocked.
There is no option to purchase non-compendium content "just for character sheet" though, because of the manner in which the character sheet integrates all of the compendium content and honestly, this is one of the best things about the D&D Beyond character sheet - you don't need to go look up what any ability, action, feature, or spell does - you just click on it and the relevant compendium content is displayed in full in the side bar for you.
I understand that's not what you wanted to hear, but D&D Beyond is much more than just a character sheet and digital PDFs of the books.
