So the Encounter Builder monsters list is much better than the monsters list on the main site.
Is there any word on when the bugs that are preventing me from using my paid content will be fixed? Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes and the Wildmount book both give me 'you need to purchase this' errors when I have purchased everything. "EVERYTHING" I tell you. I should never get any such errors. I paid for those books and I should have full access to their functionality in D&D Beyond for the rest of eternity.
I know other users see the same issues. This is content I paid to use that is being incorrectly restricted. Please fix these bugs.
have the same issue. Also, it would be great to have encounters and maps be somewhat integrated. I currently need two windows to see the encounter i run and the maps used for the encounter
Maps is still a really new tool in active development. It will take time for them to integrate all books. Keep in mind they could simply not release the tool at all until it is fully released, but they chose to let subscribers to experience the early release as part of our perk. There will be lots of issues and bugs, and it will take a really long time to resolve them all.
The encounter tool has been around for a while longer, but it is still in active development too. I expect it will have lots of issues and bugs as well, and based on how the bug kept getting bigger and how long it is taking resolving this one, this seems like it is going to take a long while too.
As far as I am aware, the only tools that are fully released and working as intended (or as much as the software limitations allow) are the compendium, database, character builder, character sheet, and dice.
I am not too familiar with the Avrae bot since I do not use Discord for D&D.
The mobile app mostly works too, with the compendium, database, character sheet, and dice fully integrated; the character builder on the other hand, not so much, as it just takes you to the in-app browser and you have to edit the character using the websites' character builder, and I do not think they plan to fully integrate the character builder into the app any time soon.
