I'm new here, so if the things I say are already posted sorry and please delete.
First of all I think this should have a multilingual support, because D&D i worldwide and for people like me playing in Spain is very confusing change languages all the time. Not very important, but a thing to consider.
Second and last I think we should have the option of changing editions, because I know, I understand 5e is the last, but there's still people playing the others around the world, and having character sheets and compendium support is a fantastic help. For example, right now I'm in two groups, one with 3.5 and the other in AD&D, and we don't have all the time all information abut it.
I don't know wat do you think, but these are my points.
Multilingual support is definitely something that is being planned for, and something that Wizards of the Coast are keen for too.
As for previous editions, D&D Beyond as a site will be entirely focussed on 5th edition D&D - maintaining that focus allows the team to deliver significantly more tools & functionality for our users. :)

Stormknight, thanks for the quick response.
What do you mean Matthias?
I was replying to Stormknight; once they've got everything from 5e working perfectly, I was thinking they might be able to start on earlier editions.

It would be the perfect (and obvious) thing to do.
