When will we be able to see and use character sheets in the mobile app? Are there even plans to add this function to the app?
When I first downloaded the app, I thought this is what it was going to be for, and was disappointed to find it only has the books that you've purchased and none of the other functions and features of the website. That's great and all if you've bought any of the books through DnD Beyond, but what I'd really love is to be able to use my character sheet in the app.
Yes, I know you can use the website on a phone or tablet, but that's not the same thing. Not everyone has access to internet when they are gaming. An app could save those changes and then sync them to your account once you do connect to the internet. Also, I usually find that an app has is better and easier to use than any "mobile compatible" web site. There is always something that doesn't scroll properly or resize well.
@gaiawolf I agree. I decided to go digital, use my phone and have everything in one spot. (You posted this question 6 months ago and there is still no word on this.) I am scouring over the forums and there is nothing I can find that says you can use the mobile app to play/ use D&D Beyond as a tool for a player. It is a shame. I hope they fix this soon.

Thanks Stormknight. I'm glad to hear it's in the works. Using the webpage mostly works in the meantime, but is internet dependent and not as convenient as an app would be. And something went off in the DNDBeyond website last weekend (April 7) in the middle of my game, making me lose access to my character sheet even though I hadn't even clicked anything that needed refreshing, and it took a few minutes for the website to recover and me to regain access to my character sheet. By some very fortuitous timing I wasn't in immediate need of my stats so the hiccup didn't disrupt the game, but it could have become very problematic.

Don't worry, the character sheet for the mobile app is currently in development.
The info is available from the weekly dev update stream/video or the roadmap:

In the meantime, the website character sheet also functions when viewed from a mobile browser.
