I was curious, and I might just be very bad at finding it, is there a friends list to add friends? I got a friend at work interested in DnDBeyond and had her sign up and I wanted to buy her the Player's Guide Book but there does not seem to be an option for that. Could I be missing it?
the forums don't have a "friend list" as such, as they're not designed to function in the same way as social media platforms.
You can however follow other users - click on their name to view their profile and you should see a "follow" button - this will notify you on the icon bar at the top of the page when they post on the forums.
With regards gifting content, unfortunately we're not there yet, but BadEye reiterated on the most recent developer Q&A video that it's something he absolutely wants to introduce, but there isn't time available to make that happen before Christmas this year.
