It may (or may not) be related to the fact that WOTC made some poor/ignorant choices in lore and art for the Hadozee when the book in question first went into print. The lore and some of the art leaned pretty heavily on racist tropes. When this was pointed out, WOTC initially pulled all of the Hadozee art from DDB while they had it evaluated, before restoring some of it. It is possible that there was a portait that got pulled when all the art did and they didn’t restore it, either because it was drawn from one of the problematic art pieces, or because they forgot.
Pretty annoying to pay for a race and not even have the basic luxury of a premade portrait.
