I am new to dnd beyond but not new to dnd. I have a few people that want to play online (freinds from my military days). They have a couple of new players as well that have never played and I was going to buy an adventure to play with them but due to the party size I was looking to add monsters to the adventures or beef them up. is this possible to do or are you stuck with what is in the book only?
The party size will be 5-6 and because only 2 have played before I was going to buy dragon of Icespire peak. it is an adventure that I run in person for new players and it always works our well.
Since none of the adventures come with prebuilt encounters, you can adjust encounters anyway you see fit.
It is not possible to make notes directly in the adventures here, so you will need to keep track of the changes you make somewhere else (either in the encounter builder or elsewhere)
if you are new to the encounter builder and would like some tips-especially about naming convention to help you quickly find something, pack and I’d be happy to offer sone advice based on my own experience.
