I have to assume this is an option in the forum software being used, but it would be really handy if, after viewing a thread, the next time we view it (assuming there are new posts) it defaults to navigating to the first unread post. If there's a setting for this that I'm missing or if this has been raised already, I apologize.

Or even provided a "Go to First Unread" link at the top of the tread.  This is pretty standard in the forums I follow, except for this one.  It's really frustrating trying to find where I left off in the forums, especially in the mega threads that run to 10 or more pages.

I just used this last night. May be a desktop only, but it is a little triangle next to the thread name.

Thank you.I see it now on after the thread name in the forum list, but there's nothing when you are on the first page of the thread, which is what I'm used to.  I still think adding a link to the top of each page of the thread would be helpful.  I also would not have guessed that's what the arrow did.   I'm currently unable to log in to DnDBeyond on my iPhone (the log-in window is blank), so I can't check if there's something useful there.
