I was really confused when I started using the Homunculus Servant infusion because the stat block used on the extra page had some key differences from the stat block found on the artificer page. I believe the stat block found on my character sheet is the same as was found in Wayfinder's guide to Eberron, which to my knowledge is not considered official content. Please fix, or help me understand the discrepancy.
All books on D&D Beyond are considered to be official content by Wizards.
I think this belongs in the Bugs and Support subforum, and please read the pinned TCOE thread over there fully and carefully, especially in regards to scaling statblocks.
Also make sure you are using the published artificer class and not the archived UA artificer, as that might be another reason the statblocks are different.
I did make a couple artificers back when it was just UA, but my current artificer was made after Eberron: Rising from the Last War came out, so that's not the issue. As to why I said Wayfinder's guide to Eberron was not official content, I'm basing that off of what it says in the online store:
"The game mechanics here are usable in your campaign, but at this time they aren’t officially part of the game and aren’t permitted in D&D Adventurers League events. These mechanics will evolve based on player feedback. This is a living document, and as these concepts are refined, this book will also be updated for free; so you will be kept up to date with any changes that are made to it."
My guess from this is WGtE was essentially payed UA and later replaced with E:RftLW, but since people had payed for the former D&D Beyond kept the content on the site.
Is there a way to move this thread to Bugs & Support forums? I'd prefer that to reposting this
WGtE is an odd case all the way around. It was an experiment by WOTC, using DMsGuild and the pdf format (plus access here) to test out support for Eberron. It was, in a sense "pay to playtest." Then WOTC released the races and the artificer class as free UA, which understandably upset some folks. WOTC also promised that if an Eberron hardcover was ever produced, it wouldn't just be a reprint of WGtE, that there would be enough different content between the two that those who purchased WGtE wouldn't feel like they were being asked to buy it twice. Only, in the end, that's not what happened. Almost everything from WGtE ended up in E:RftLW, with the exception of some Elf Races. Even the lore was essentially the same, if reorganized, slightly reworded, and sometimes expanded upon.
Here on DDB, Wayfinders character options were updated with E:RftLW came out. At some point--either then or when the Artificer was released in Tasha's, I believe the homunculus specifics changed. Actually, it may have been both, because I believe the level at which one could get the homunculus infusion changed with Tasha's.
Infusions are now accessed from the Equipment tab, and the Infusions sub-tab. It took me a couple of steps to set up the Homunculus infusion there, but once I did I could access the stat block there. I know there is still and "infusions" section of the extras tab; I'm not sure why since it lists "monsters" as options for the infusions. My guess is--as you have already suggested--that the homunculus found there is from one of the older renditions of artificer.
