I don't see anything weird. Can you screenshot it?
Doesn't seem to allow insertion of a file image or support access to clipboard...
Copy the image to Imgur (doesn't require an account) then use the URL for that image in the 'insert image' dialogue here

Might be a desktop only layout issue. I am using mobile.
