I've dipped my toe into homebrewing on the site for a race in my world. As I was trying to get feedback on it I had published it so I could get a public link to send to people. What I didn't realize is that when it's published you can't revise it or delete an old revision. I've done incremental updates (ie 1.0 1.a 1.b etc...) based on feedback, and I only have 1 listing for my race in my homebrew collection, but when I try to create a character, it's in the list like 4 or 5 times, how can I get rid of the erroneous versions?
Whenever you make homebrew, it's automatically added to both your creations and your collection, which includes revisions. Anything in your collection is shown in the character builder. To prevent your outdated versions appearing, go to each one and remove it from your collection (using the wide, blue button in the bottom left)
Correct, what you share via campaigns will pull from your collection & creations - so if you are down to just one entry, it should be the same for them.
I'd also recommend, that if you want feedback on wording or or something - creating a thread in the homebrew sub forum and just typing what is neccessary to gain feedback. Publishing homebrew is for finished work that you wish to send out there to the wider community.

That's my plan with future projects. I was not aware that when submitted it would be uneditable. Live and learn right lol :)
I'm stumbling through the process as well. Seems that deleting mistakes removes it from the "view" filter, but the original bad version with the same name is still there on the copy "use existing Templates" filter.

When you Create New version the old version still remains in the homebrew listings UNTIL you publish the new version.
The older copies will continue to remain in your Homebrew Creations until you remove them.

Awesome, I only see the one now. Thank you for the tip. Does this also change it for those that are in my campaigns that they only see the one?
