Loving the service so far. On day one I bought the Legendary bundle and the Masters Sub. However I have noticed one issue so far that's been a little frustrating. I have my players join my campaign, and have enabled content sharing, yet they are only able to use the character builder with all the unlocked content for that one character in my campaign.
Now that's fine, I OK with it and understand the reasons behind that choice. The issue I am having is I would like to be able to do random characters, or the level one quick build characters, when my players join the campaign. It immediately kicks them into the standard character builder with no other options. Also since they do not have access to the unlocked content with other characters they could make on their own, this means that the only option for them to have all of the content unlocked in the builder is to use the standard builder.
I would like for when players put in the link to my campaign it gave them the three options of character creation that normally occur if I were to just click create new character, instead of being forced into the standard generation.

Yeah I felt with the initial hype that the shared content would be for the entire players account, so did my players. But live and learn.
However Badeye did mention that he thought that players already went to the three options, but that he was going to look into it, so I would guess that they are working on it :)

One thing you can do is have them create multiple characters in your campaign, then quit the campaign. As long as they don't remove anything from those characters that is part of paid material it will stay with those characters. Then when they need to swap they just add the new character back. Right now I believe that is as close to a work around as you can get. They can even put magic items and the like and backgrounds, just can't remove them or they are gone forever or until they join another campaign with sharing that has the material so they can add it back.
I already have my three campaign slots planned out, so this wouldn't work for me. This starts to become a serious issue. I have 6 campaigns I am running right now, several with the same people in each whom pay into our pool for content and DM subscription. It would be nice to have an option to add extra campaigns (of course willing to pay, maybe $1 per campaign per month or something) or to have the players get their own subscription that while attached to the DM subscription, they then have full access to everything in all their campaigns as well. (or better yet the ability to create unlimited characters using all that content in some way)
There is a hard limit that I am going to start running into very soon, and I don't mind paying for more options, but having someone else buy all the content and a DM subscription all over again just to add three more campaigns is going to be a stretch even for the most raving of fans.
Maybe there needs to be another tier for people like me who want to run on a larger scale. Not sure what the options are.

Or you could create a 2nd campaign for them to create their backup characters in.
Characters can always be moved between campaigns.
