Badeye will be hosting a fireside development update Q&A session on Twitch this Friday! If you're unable to attend, please post any questions you would like addressed in this thread!
Here are a couple of things I would like to hear more about.
1. Can we get some harder numbers on how the launch of D&D Beyond went? Number of subscribers and/or legelndary bundle numbers? Or at minimum an official word on the health of D&D beyond subscriber base as a whole. (Such as it exceeded expectations by x% or something)
2. Will we get the option to purchase more player slots in a campaign (important as campaign management rolls out) and/or purchase more campaign slots?

I'm Keen to hear more about how wild shape will be implemented? like will it simply be a list of beasts on the character sheet that you can view and track the health of, or as I'm hoping will it actually update the entire character sheet to reflect your new ability scores, ac, resistances etc. I know this second option would probably take a lot more work but it would be awesome! My DM has also given my character a number of home brew items that effect my character both normal and wild shape form, as well as allowing some non-beast characters for backstory reasons. I know all these ideas may not be implemented at first (hopefully if not then later on).
My other thing id like to know about is some of the more general temporary changes to the character sheet and if they will be implemented on this pass of the character revamp. For instance a way to adjust your INT and CHA when hit with Feeblemind or when a Black Pudding reduces item stats.
What is the plan for UA rollout? I know giving timeframes is tricky and dangerous for people's expectations haha, but DnDBeyond could be a great place to get feedback on playtest material since you can see what content is being used.
P.S. Excited to see a roadmap of where DnD Beyond is headed, also loving the media content being posted especially lore videos.
When will we be getting the Twitch overlay? I have been running a twitch stream for a while and I am really excited about using that overlay you advertised.
Will I ever be able to create homebrew items that include non-srd material from WOTC solely for use in my campaign (not for public consumption)? Or create homebrew items that include homebrew spells?

You can already create private homebrew items containing licensed content for personal use. You can recreate the entirety of the handbook, if you desire.
I expect Adam to be wearing an eye-patch over his bad eye during the chat. Otherwise it's just false advertising.
Also, when will we get search-within-books? What I mean by that is being able to restrict a search to just the Player's Handbook, or Curse of Strahd, or whatever?
Also, I want more linking within books, especially adventures.
Also, lots of anchors still don't work.
Also, highlighting in the contents side-bar is always much lower than the currently viewed text.
Also, I want the entire contents of a book to be linked in the side-bar, not just the current chapter.

Not races, subclasses, or feats yet, though. And that's not what he asked.
Yeah, what I wanna know is how in the heck they expect us to pay for the same dang dern books again that we've already bought? (JUST KIDDING!)
Seriously though, I know that a campaign manager is a part of the roadmap, but I would like to know more about what features it will have and how it will work.
All in all, I have enjoyed using the program, but I am running into points where I am running a game, and don't have internet access. My question is; Are there any plans on making the contents available offline, say in an app or a downloadable program for your desktop?

Omg, I am dying, thank you I needed that this morning.

Figured I'd throw out a light-hearted "inb4" because we all know it's coming.

Let me make myself more clear with a use-case situation. Will it ever be possible to create a homebrewed 5th-level scroll with the spell Bigby's Hand attached? Will it ever be possible to create a homebrewed magic item that contains a private homebrewed spell by clicking the ADD A SPELL button?
I know the system's capabilities now. And I know what the TOS says right now. And I know there are discussions about this wrinkle. I just want to know whether a resolution is dead in the water or where it is in the pipeline.

The most important thing to me is this: will permanent subscriptions be added?

Is the Warlock invocation Book of Ancient Secrets issue going to be resolved with the equipment/container update?
1.) What is the team's current focus?
2.) When (if ever) will DDAL content such as modules be added?
3). In that same vein, when (if ever) will Unearthed Arcana content be added?
4). When will we have the ability to create custom Races or Classes?
5). Will there be improvements made to site-wide searches?

Given that Dialect is now making an offline Kindle like app for D&D 5E, how does this affect D&D Beyond?
