I have an online campaign at the moment that I'm DMing, I have the legendary bundle and all that and I just pre-ordered Tasha's. I'm wondering if there is currently or if there could be a way to share only certain things from the sourcebooks to my players? For example, I would want my players to have access to the new subclasses but I would rather they NOT have access to all the puzzles that are also in Tasha's.
This may be difficult to implement but I thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks!
Actually, it is my understanding that you can turn off a sourcebook and players will still have access to player content, but not compendium content.
If not, once the subclasses come out, you could make them as "homebrew subclasses" to share with your player, and keep the Tasha's sourcebook off. If you're not changing anything, it's just a couple of clicks. Create new class. Select class from dropdown. Select the subclass. Create. Done.

Hey all.

I think you can only share by sourcebook. So you can share all of a book or none of a book but you can't share more nuanced than that.

That seems like a kind of hokey workaround, then when they want to mess around with character stuff you have to reenable? Good info, thank you though!
