So - thought I'd share, and hopefully get some feedback on my WIP 3d printed boat project- it will be OpenLOCK compatible, and it is incredibly modular.. Letting you build on the fly a ship the size you want.
All the art and pieces were done by *me*
Minis are WOTC/Wizkids/Pathfinder for scale reference.
And yes I know I am not a great painter.
Would love to hear thoughts, comments, suggestions, wish list items for a potential kickstarter, etc.
Thanks Rycon and Matthias!! It's encouraging when I get responses :-)
If you follow a bit - keep an eye out- I'll let ya know. I'm still surprised no one's noticed the non - miniatures D&D references on the boat yet ( or hadn't said anything)
Breeze, the Air Genasi Rogue in G.M.O.A.T.S sunless citadel Guldrum, the Dwarf Barbarian in Ye ol' Yarn Spun Legend Baku, the Tortle Bloodhunter in Coliseum of Conquest
I just can't stop coming by to appreciate the craftsmanship :)

Really nicely done - I've started 3D printing terrain from folks like Fat Dragon Games and Printable Scenery.com, and I'd say the quality of your work easily matches theirs. Very cool, keep up the good work!

The most memorable stories always begin with failure.
Thanks Lokibryce :-)
If you notice- EVERYTHING is playable terrain- the yard arms, the masts, stairs, etc.
Wow, brilliant work!
I want that.

Wow. Are you just sliding the base of the minis into the spaces between the rigging to get them to stay up there?
Do you have any sails to add just to complete the aesthetic?
This is absolutely AWEsome :)

the minis bases slide effortlessly in specifically sized gaps every inch in the rigging, yup :-)
same with the masts & yard arms:-)
sails aren't done template wise yet.

Originally was going to buy the PrintableScenary ship- and just wasn't satisfied.... Which led to this ;-)
Bravo. You should be proud of this effort.
