I created a generic level 1 character and named him "Mule". He is the separate container and anything in his inventory would be considered in our bag of holding.

Is there a way to properly adjust weights when you have one of these items equiped?
Currently D&D Beyond doesn't allow you to organise equipment into multiple containers, though this is something that is planned.
